New Stuff.

Ok, after some bugs, I got the camera for both players centered. Thank god I fixed this.
If I hadn't, well, think of playing Super mario bros, but Mario is only a little away from the screen border edge, and you can't see whats comming. That would make the game impossible...

But... I fixed it. I'm really happy about that.

Also, I'm working on moving platforms. They are a bit buggy right now but I have in mind a fix I can try.

New Gameplay stuff!

I converted the game into split screen! Now both players have thier own screen. The screens are now split by a small black vertical line. 2 views. =D

Also, I binded the insert button to a mini key mapping menu. After much trouble, i got it working. I'll switch it off insert and make it a button in options on the main menu, but for now, it works fine and should'nt be a hassle to convert into the title screen.

an idea for the start of the game
a quick idea off the top of my idea would be starting it out where they encounter the same event but have different experiences getting to the goal (main boss) and work together to defeat the first boss, like in introduction to the other character
also maybe you can do while one person does a puzzle another one could have to run n gun in a part by themselves
ill have to give it some more thought though

Like, this girl who is the final boss is in the introduction and is this shadow girl that wants to kill them (un owen kinda thing) and the last thing they both remember is getting knocked out by that one girl.
the puzzule idea is nice, I'll do that. I'm also gonna do the 'Cortex and Crash' level from twinsanity in my own way, of course using my characters and changing some stuff, like instead of the bee hive, the other player is being controlled by the final boss girl. The girl constantly might switch between the 2 players, disbling their control, and thus the other player has to be quick and reliable.
Someone asked me about the story, so I told them this:

The story isn't really made yet. Mails, the project director, is never online, so we haven't really got one fully established.
Basicly, what we have come to an agreement on is that there will be two unlikely characters joining together, hating each other, but slowing over the game, coming into a happy state. The game has a bit of a back story for each character. ken kayri, is a teenager who wants to live it big. rayi renmen, also a teenager, is the exact oposite.
I haven't told this part of the story with Mails yet, but chances are this is going to be part of the story:
After a bit the of the game (SPOILER) they find out that one of them can't live and the other must survive, and end up working together to fix their lives or something. They them team up, and find out that they become one person at the end of the game. (Sorry for the ton of cunfusion, this story plot hasn't been really ajusted or edited yet. Any ideas?

Also, the game is going to be hard, and in some sections, split the characters up. There will be lots of opertunities to be mean to the other player, like 1 way doors. 1 player in, the other player has to go the harder, other way. The game spends time making a team, then destroys it, then rebuilds it.
Of couse, there are places and things you can do to harm and hurt the other player, there is friendly fire, but some puzzles need two people, so, you have to make the team and yadayadayada.

When the two meet, they have no idea about eachother. They have a short introduction about their past, which they can't fully remeber. They are both in this starge world or something. They gotta get out. yadayadayada...

Agian, I haven't edited this, or told this to mails, so nothing is final, put these ideas will work their way in possibly.

Alright, I'm the head coder on project Kulky (beta name).
Kulky is a 2D, 2 player, co-op megaman-like game in development.
THIS GAME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PONIES, BUT SINCE THE PROJECT LEAD, MAILS, ME, AND OUR MUSIC MAKER IS A BRONY, I MIGHT AS WELL ASK HERE

We are gathering a team to make this. We need pixel artists, background artists.
This project, once done, will be sold on steam for about 5 bucks. Profit will be split evenly. (Note: Our amazing music maker has requested that he is not payed)
This is an Indie game, So we have to make the game, then sell it, then we all get a precentage of profit.

If you would like to help, please, say so in a post below!
We are trying to keep this team small, but, we are taking suggestions from the cummunity to make this game really something you want.
Example, Idea for chargeing up guns like MMX? I'll see what I can do.
